Brave New Words

Brave New Words is a bookish podcast which features a small gang of words nerds getting very excited about science fiction, fantasy and horror.

Join Starburst Magazine's Literary Editor Ed Fortune and his gang of book worms for news, analysis and book reviews. The show frequently features author guests, including the likes of George RR Martin, Robin Hobb, Joe Hill and Sarah Pinborough.

New episodes are released every Sunday.

 Ed, Ross and Si Lloyd talk space opera books. Starting with Aaron Dembski-Bowden's First Heretic, we swiftly move on to Star Wars Bloodline by Claudia Gray, followed by the Doctor Who epic anthology, Seasons of War. Not to be left out, we also discuss the Complete Guardians of The Galaxy collection (volume one). Finally, we call Star Trek novelist Dayton Ward to round it all off.

Ed, Ross and Producer Al talk about Nicola Abnett's début novel Savant and Dan Abnett's older novel Xenos. We also talk about recent book news and look at a map.
